What is a Remanufactured Longblock?

A remanufactured longblock is the combination of 1) a remanufactured short block with 2) the cylinder heads torqued onto the short block. Peripheral items such as the oil pan, valve covers, timing cover are not included. Fliteline's remanufactured longblocks include push rods, lifters and rocker arms. All of our longblocks are pre-tested on a SIM Test machine to insure engine has the correct compression on each cylinder as well as correct oil pressure and oil flow. All moving components are machined or replaced.
